Monthly Faves: March!

I tend to develop a new obsession every month so I figured why not share my favorites with you guys?

My favorite for this month: Vlogs!

I started watching vlogs back in 2013 back when I was obsessed with watching gender reveal videos on Youtube. Come to think of it, I still love watching those kinds of videos.  (I mean come on...I can't be the only one who loves watching someone find out the gender of their baby especially in a fun and creative way. It brings so much joy and excitement!) Anyway...The first vloggers I found were Ellie and Jared! I found the gender reveal video when Ellie was pregnant with her first son, Jackson. I instantly fell in love with them! They seem like such an amazing family. Plus, they are hilarious! Ellie's siblings also have vlogs and I love watching theirs too! There are a ton more that I just recently started watching so here are my top 13 favorites that I've been binge-watching for days! I'll leave links to each channel so you can check them out for yourself!

Note: I have no idea how to put the links where you can just click on it, but if you highlight the link and then click go to (link), it will send you straight to the channel! :)

Now, I put The Gathered Nest last because it would be a perfect opportunity to bring up this topic. I found this vlog yesterday and it tugged at my heartstrings a little...well, no, actually a lot. They adopted a little girl with down syndrome. Why in the heck would I care about that you may ask. Well, I haven't brought it up before, but my little sister has down syndrome. I never thought it would be too significant when telling you about my little sister in previous posts because when I see my little sister, I don't see down syndrome. I just see my beautiful little sister. Down Syndrome is just her diagnosis, it's not who she is.

Remember to wear crazy socks on March 21st
                                                        for World Down Syndrome Day!

Lots of Love,
Meagan :)

Why I kept living even though I didn't want to...

Okay...I'm just going to go ahead and warn you that this is going to be a very emotional post so beware! I'm posting this in honor of Suicide Prevention Week and I'm hoping to spread awareness on this issue. I have a feeling that people might not look at me the same after they read all of this, but this is a part of my life story and I want to give others hope. I saw something on Facebook and I decided to share it then suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks. I remembered all of those times I thought about or even attempted suicide and I started to think about all of the reasons why I wanted to keep living. The number 1 reason why I kept living was just thinking about the aftermath. I didn't want my mom or older sister to come into my room and find my lifeless body. I didn't want my little sister or nephew to ask where their "May-May" was. I didn't want my friends and family to wonder what else they could have possibly done to prevent this from hap...

Life's Difficult,but Beautiful.

Life is hard for everyone, but it has such beauty. Lately, I've been making a lot of mistakes like shattering a glass plate all over the kitchen floor and killing my mom's car battery while waiting in the parking lot. Sorry mom! Even when life's at it's ugliest, it's still beautiful. I know. It's hard to think like that. People are homeless. People are starving. People are being murdered. People are dying from cancer. It's horrible and sad, but life will always be beautiful. Your life. Her life. His life. All beautiful. I'm telling you this because I want you to realize it before it's too late. I don't want you to realize it when your family member is on their deathbed or someone you know goes missing. Enjoy every single moment with your friends and family. For every beautiful life cut short, live for them. For every beautiful life starving, feed them. For every beautiful life homeless, shelter them. For every beautiful life going t...

Great News!

Wow...I haven't posted in so long!  I'm so sorry, you guys, but I have some amazing news!                                                         I'm going to be an aunt again! YES! ANOTHER BABY! We're so excited especially since this is my oldest sister's first baby! We really wanted the baby to be a girl since my other sister already has 2 boys... but God had other plans! It's a BOY!  Looks like it's 3 nephews for me which I'm perfectly fine with!  I love my sweet little nephews and I can't wait to add another to the mix!  I'll see you in April sweet baby boy!  Lots of Love, Aunt May-May :)
