Happy New Year!

Yes, I know that it's not the new year yet, but I didn't know if I would be posting on New years day so I'm going to go ahead and tell you. :)

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I know I did! I got a lot of goodies from Santa. ;)

I'm, also, very happy to say that I'm working on my first children's book! In the past, I've mostly wrote for tweens and teens. I never ended up finishing them though. A children's book would be shorter and easier to write so this time I'm hoping to actually get it published! I'll keep y'all updated on that! :)

Oh, and I'm very very happy to say that I've been eating a lot healthier the past couple of days. Well, I sort of didn't today, but I could tell a major difference when I ate healthy food vs when I
ate junk food. I had way more energy and I was less bloated, but today I just feel crappy. So, I'll definitely be eating a lot more healthy food from now on!

It seems like the next couple of weeks are going to be so incredibly stressful though! We've got a lot of packing and a lot of moving to do. I'm honestly not ready for it, but it had to happen sometime. So, wish me and my family luck as we pack and move into our new house.

Sorry, for the negativity. I'll end this post on a positive note. I've seen a lot people liking my page on Facebook and I just want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart! If it wasn't for y'all, I would have no reason to write. XOXOXO

Lots of Love,
Meagan :)

Why I kept living even though I didn't want to...

Okay...I'm just going to go ahead and warn you that this is going to be a very emotional post so beware! I'm posting this in honor of Suicide Prevention Week and I'm hoping to spread awareness on this issue. I have a feeling that people might not look at me the same after they read all of this, but this is a part of my life story and I want to give others hope. I saw something on Facebook and I decided to share it then suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks. I remembered all of those times I thought about or even attempted suicide and I started to think about all of the reasons why I wanted to keep living. The number 1 reason why I kept living was just thinking about the aftermath. I didn't want my mom or older sister to come into my room and find my lifeless body. I didn't want my little sister or nephew to ask where their "May-May" was. I didn't want my friends and family to wonder what else they could have possibly done to prevent this from hap...

Life's Difficult,but Beautiful.

Life is hard for everyone, but it has such beauty. Lately, I've been making a lot of mistakes like shattering a glass plate all over the kitchen floor and killing my mom's car battery while waiting in the parking lot. Sorry mom! Even when life's at it's ugliest, it's still beautiful. I know. It's hard to think like that. People are homeless. People are starving. People are being murdered. People are dying from cancer. It's horrible and sad, but life will always be beautiful. Your life. Her life. His life. All beautiful. I'm telling you this because I want you to realize it before it's too late. I don't want you to realize it when your family member is on their deathbed or someone you know goes missing. Enjoy every single moment with your friends and family. For every beautiful life cut short, live for them. For every beautiful life starving, feed them. For every beautiful life homeless, shelter them. For every beautiful life going t...

It's a BOY!  Looks like it's 3 nephews for me which I'm perfectly fine with!  I love my sweet little nephews and I can't wait to add another to the mix!  I'll see you in April sweet baby boy!  Lots of Love, Aunt May-May :)
