I'm such a horrible blogger! :(

I'm so sorry, you guys. I know, I know. I say that every time, but it's really been a busy couple of weeks.  First, I was going to post on World Down Syndrome Day, but that didn't work out. Then, I was going to post on my birthday, but that (of course) was a very busy day. However, I do have pictures to share from these events! :)                                                                                      Rocking our funky socks on World Down Syndrome Day!                                                                                       ...

Monthly Faves: March!

I tend to develop a new obsession every month so I figured why not share my favorites with you guys? My favorite for this month: Vlogs!  I started watching vlogs back in 2013 back when I was obsessed with watching gender reveal videos on Youtube. Come to think of it, I still love watching those kinds of videos.  (I mean come on...I can't be the only one who loves watching someone find out the gender of their baby especially in a fun and creative way. It brings so much joy and excitement!) Anyway...The first vloggers I found were Ellie and Jared! I found the gender reveal video when Ellie was pregnant with her first son, Jackson. I instantly fell in love with them! They seem like such an amazing family. Plus, they are hilarious! Ellie's siblings also have vlogs and I love watching theirs too! There are a ton more that I just recently started watching so here are my top 13 favorites that I've been binge-watching for days! I'll leave links to each channel so you ca...

What A Month!

It's been such a chaotic couple of weeks! Seriously! I'm so sorry for being MIA, but I've got a good reason for it. First of all, we moved! Yep, we're staying at my grandma's until an apartment opens up. Which, of course, has been hectic. Plus, my great aunts have been here visiting and they're also staying with my grandma so yeah...it's been a crazy couple of weeks to say the least. Oh, and might I say how happy I was when my little sister got the stomach virus! :( Luckily we were still at our old house when this happened and my sister and her family had already moved out so I had a bathroom all to myself that was not contaminated! Even though my anxiety was through the roof, I managed to get through the next couple of days without getting sick. Thankfully, my mom didn't get sick either which is very weird considering she cleaned up after her and held the bowl up to her mouth as she puked. This is the first time no one else has gotten it and it really ...

Life's Difficult,but Beautiful.

Life is hard for everyone, but it has such beauty. Lately, I've been making a lot of mistakes like shattering a glass plate all over the kitchen floor and killing my mom's car battery while waiting in the parking lot. Sorry mom! Even when life's at it's ugliest, it's still beautiful. I know. It's hard to think like that. People are homeless. People are starving. People are being murdered. People are dying from cancer. It's horrible and sad, but life will always be beautiful. Your life. Her life. His life. All beautiful. I'm telling you this because I want you to realize it before it's too late. I don't want you to realize it when your family member is on their deathbed or someone you know goes missing. Enjoy every single moment with your friends and family. For every beautiful life cut short, live for them. For every beautiful life starving, feed them. For every beautiful life homeless, shelter them. For every beautiful life going t...

Happy New Year!

Yes, I know that it's not the new year yet, but I didn't know if I would be posting on New years day so I'm going to go ahead and tell you. :) I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! I know I did! I got a lot of goodies from Santa. ;) I'm, also, very happy to say that I'm working on my first children's book! In the past, I've mostly wrote for tweens and teens. I never ended up finishing them though. A children's book would be shorter and easier to write so this time I'm hoping to actually get it published! I'll keep y'all updated on that! :) Oh, and I'm very very happy to say that I've been eating a lot healthier the past couple of days. Well, I sort of didn't today, but I could tell a major difference when I ate healthy food vs when I ate junk food. I had way more energy and I was less bloated, but today I just feel crappy. So, I'll definitely be eating a lot more healthy food from now on! It seems like the next c...

One Step Closer To Graduation!

So...I passed all of my exams and I'm now out for winter break! I have one more semester and then I'll be a high school graduate! I can already tell that 2017 is going to be an awesome year for me (*knocks on wood*). Although, I'm a little nervous about going to college and not only will I be attending college, but I'll also be looking for my first job! It's definitely going to be a year of firsts for me! I've looked at some college websites and looked for job openings and I saw a few that spiked my interest, but none of them seemed right for me so I'm going to continue to look and pray that God leads me down the right path. Anyway, enough with the college talk! It's Christmas Eve, y'all! Wow, this month has flown by! Come to think of it...this year has flown by! I can't believe it's already Christmas time! Now, let's get into the Christmas spirit, shall we? I've got my Christmas outfit on, my Santa hat on, and I've had my morni...

Great News!

So many great things have happened including finally figuring out what I want to go to school for! I've decided that I would like to go and get my bachelor's degree in early childhood education and I'm going to become an elementary school teacher! I'm really exited about this and I feel like I've finally got things figured out! I'm hoping to teach 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade language arts since that is my favorite subject and I don't want to teach really little kids, but I guess I'll take whatever job I can get. I, also, wouldn't have to teach all of the subjects since upper elementary schools tend to switch between teachers and they each have different subjects to teach like one teaches science and math while the other teaches language arts and social studies. I'm so excited to start this journey!              That's not all, though! I have more great news! My blog has reached the milestone of over 1,000 views! I know tha...
