A letter to my future husband.

I don't know who you will be. I don't know what your interests will be. I don't know what age we will be when we meet. I don't know where or how we will meet. The one thing I do know and I am certain will never change is the love I have for you. I have prayed so many times asking God to bless me with a wonderful man that will love me and our children, and never do anything to hurt us. I know my prayers will be answered soon. It could be tomorrow or five years from now, but I know my prayers will be answered. Love is a waiting game and it's always worth the wait!

One thing that has kept positive through this waiting game is a dream I had three years ago. Jesus held my hand and told me that I was going to marry a wonderful man. That's how I know you will be the answer to my prayers. I am so excited to meet you and get to know you. I can't wait to be your wife and as your future wife I promise to do the following things:

I promise to be there for you when you are having a difficult time.
I promise to take care of you when you are sick. ( Yes, even if you are vomiting.)
I promise to pray with and for you.
I promise to watch football with you even if we have opposing teams.
I promise not to embarrass you too much. ;)
I promise to rub your back when you had a hard day at work.
I promise to say I love you each and everyday.

  1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

5 Years Later

It's been 5 years since my last post! A lot has changed in the past 5 years. My first niece was born in 2021 and my fourth nephew was born in 2022. I changed positions at my job one year ago and celebrated my 6th anniversary at my job back in June!  I, unfortunately, lost my dad in August of 2019. But I gained someone very important to me back in June of this year. That brings me to my next announcement...                                                                         Yep, that's right! I'm engaged! He was an amazing boyfriend and he's been an even better fiancé. He's everything I've prayed for and more. This is the healthiest and most stable relationship I've ever experienced so I'm truly blessed to be marrying such an amazing guy! I'll post more on this in my next post including our wedding date and our save-the-date photos. I'll, also, post my dream wedding registry!

I'm Married!

Yes, you read that right! I got married this past weekend on June 2nd. It was perfect. Everything went as planned. I even got all the words right! (My only mistake was almost putting the ring on the wrong hand, but I don't care about that...Just as long as I got all the words right!)  It was truly a magical day. Now, let me bring on the pictures!                                                                                   After the wedding I have to say, I love being married. I've always dreamed of being a wife and living the married life...Now, I finally am! I can't wait to see what the future will bring for me and my husband!

What A Month!

It's been such a chaotic couple of weeks! Seriously! I'm so sorry for being MIA, but I've got a good reason for it. First of all, we moved! Yep, we're staying at my grandma's until an apartment opens up. Which, of course, has been hectic. Plus, my great aunts have been here visiting and they're also staying with my grandma so yeah...it's been a crazy couple of weeks to say the least. Oh, and might I say how happy I was when my little sister got the stomach virus! :( Luckily we were still at our old house when this happened and my sister and her family had already moved out so I had a bathroom all to myself that was not contaminated! Even though my anxiety was through the roof, I managed to get through the next couple of days without getting sick. Thankfully, my mom didn't get sick either which is very weird considering she cleaned up after her and held the bowl up to her mouth as she puked. This is the first time no one else has gotten it and it really
